Déesse

16.3 h, Grey (EeAaGg)

Déesse (registered as: Limestone Stable's Paisley) is our royally bred warmblood mare carrying some of the best bloodlines of both the Dutch Warmblood, with Olympic Ferro as her sire, and Holteiner, with the jumping talent of her dam's sire Saluut II. The blending of these lines have made Déesse comfortable in both dressage and jumping. Generally speaking her conformation is more that of a jumper but she certainly also carries some dressage ability and she was doing quite well until her accident that damaged her stiffle. Since we aim to produce athletes that can perform both on the flat and over fences we see this mare as an ideal blend of proven bloodlines.

2011

This year Déesse is in foal to Beaulieu's Heartbreaker for a June 2011 foal. Beaulieu's Heartbreaker has the best jumping pedigree available today and is from one of the most established Canadian jumper breeder. He is already starting to compete and is attracting quite a bit of attention with his great jump, scope and good looks. He combines in his pedigree the fabulous Dutch lines of Heartbreaker and the Holsteiner lines of Cassini. This young stallion is sure to pass on some jump!
This is a Custom Foal

2010

This year Déesse delivered a big bay colt by Soprano on May 17th. Soprano is well proven in Europe with numerous outstanding offsprings from his time at the Flinge stud. We hoped that he would pass on his longer front legs, agility and excellent gaits. The bottom of his pedigree includes some proven jumpers and jumper producers and therefore we think he will also compliment Deesse's versatile pedigree.

Determinato was born with some challenges and slowly overcame them all. Now at almost 3 months old we can see what a nice colt this boy truly is. This is this year tallest and leggiest foal. That is what we ordered from Soprano and that is exactly what we got. The Sandro Hit lines come clearly through on this colt. Very ellegant, beautifull top line and good hindquarters and breathtakingly uphill. Mom trew in her determined and calm temperament, her noble carriage and her grey color.
We expect Deets to finish in the 17hh+ range.

2009

This year Déesse delivered a foal by Idocus in early April. We think that Idocus will bring some excellent sitting ability contributing to Deesse nice jumping form. Overall Idocus is a proven producer of both dressage and hunter/jumper/eventing horses. They are known for their excellent gaits and excellent minds. Hard to beat a stallion who at 18, went to his second olympics as an alternate. A proof of his constitution and character. Idocus produces outstanding sons and Deimos has some pretty outstanding "half-siblings" out there. Here are a few of them: Vinca Versace Oberon Roc USA Stacatto Opus Olivier

Deimos-Sold

We are thrilled with Deimos, he is just what we were hoping to get from this cross. He is uphill, has beautiful motion, an excellent sweet temperament and he is as correct as they get. We expect him to mature 16.3hh to 17hh. He is a very big and powerful boy. For the first week he barely trotted, all he would do was canter. He could canter very slowly or turn it on. He right away seemed to have the ability to sit on his haunches and when he accelerated he looked like a motorboat jumping forward. We were thrilled to find him a good home where those qualities will be appreciated.

We got some update on Deimos who is turning 1 yrs old in the middle of April: "Deimos is still perfectly proportional, beautiful, jaw-dropping and drool worthy AND ATHLETIC!!! The horses were coming in to eat the other night and John saw him jump across a small creek like/runoff, just a little thing, and he said Deimos cleared it by a good 10 feet! He also has this great action in his movement. He was measured at 15.3 at the wither and 16hh at the hip: big boy!"

2005

Deesse had a colt
by Rubino Bellisimo for her previous owner.

Rosswell-SOLD

Rosswell was bought as a dressage prospect by his current owner. She likes his physical abilities but most importantly his excellent temperament. Here is what she share with us recently:"I am absolutely and totally loving my rides/my time with Ross. I have so many people at the barn who say that he simply has a presence when he enters the arena (despite his young age) and that his temperament (again despite his young age) is simply fabulous. And I could not agree more. I feel very, very blessed to have him.Ross started to school flying changes towards the end of last summer while he was still in training but we have slowed it down a little. He is now 5 but we are not on a schedule, even though he could certainly progress faster."
